Ted Dillard

We've been dropping the name for a few months now, but, as we get settled and catch our breath, let's take this opportunity to introduce our new, resident digital photographer and imaging expert, Ted Dillard.

Ted is a 25-year veteran of advertising photography, and, in 1998, began his career in digital imaging. He's had a chance to work with, and be factory-trained with almost every product line of top-end digital imaging equipment... from scanners and software, to cameras and printers.

Ted has, for the last 5 years, developed and taught his own series of workshops that give integrated solutions for creative professionals, a philosophy that goes hand-in-hand with our thinking at Tech Superpowers. He has the training and experience with the digital tools, coupled with the foundation of 25 years in the industry. The author of two unique books in digital photography, a teacher at Northeastern, the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley, the New England School of Photography, and, most recently, the Maine Photographic Workshops. Ted continues to contribute to the development and integration of digital imaging into mainstream commercial and fine-art photography.

His main mission here is to bring his perspective and approach to coordinating and developing our training, seminars and workshops at Tech Superpowers. We're also leaning on his considerable experience in photography to help our many clients with color management and asset management solutions.

In his spare (!) time, Ted has founded and organizes the boston2portland bike ride, a 100/50/30 mile ride in September, to raise money to fight Parkinson's. Tech Superpowers is a proud sponsor of boston2portland, although we'll leave all the riding to Ted. Check out his site: http://www.boston2portland.com
