Apple Repair - Tips

If you'd like to drop something off for service, please take a minute to read these tips for dropping off a machine with us. It will help speed the process.

The more that you can tell us about the problem you've been experiencing the better. Any error messages, documentation, things you've tried, or other notes may help us to make a quick, accurate diagnosis.

Please do not bring in keyboards, mice, cables, or packing materials unless they are specific to the problem. We prefer to have the CPU only.

The minimum charge for a repair is our bench fee of $30 - if we are unable to find anything wrong with the machine. An estimate for all costs will be given to you before we do any work that incurs additional charges.

Normally, we're able to look at machines in 24-48 hours of when they are dropped off, depending on the volume of business.

If you're in a hurry to get your machine fixed, ask about our $99 priority fee, which "bumps" your computer to the front of the diagnostic line. We also have our $199 "drop everything" option, where an Apple-certified technician will stop all other work to look at your machine.

Check our hours for drop-off and pick-up times. Our service department does not have to be open for you to drop off your machine.

If you call us to ask about status, make sure to use your service ticket number to reference your repair.

When checking in your machine, don't forget to ask about our $99 Rental program for repair customers.

And finally, always pick up your machine within 90 days of us notifying you of its completion. Otherwise, we reserve the right to dispose of it or recycle it!
